Candles:

Most candle manufacturers in the UK, and often worldwide, use paraffin wax, widely known as the highly combustible substance used to fuel jet engines and rockets. When burned, paraffin releases toxic benzene and toluene chemicals, both of which are known to be carcinogenic. For this reason, breathing in candles made with paraffin wax is just as bad for your health as breathing in second-hand smoke.

Many leading candle brands use this type of wax, or a blend that includes paraffin. This is what makes us different.

Wax:

All of our candles are made with 100% natural coconut wax which is both vegan and biodegradable. This premium grade wax ensures a slow, clean burn without the toxins found in paraffin wax candles, making this better for your health.

Wicks:

All of our wicks are made from natural flat cotton threads interwoven with paper threads, giving an eco-friendly approach to achieving a natural, clean burn. We trim our wicks to the perfect height to ensure a great burn quality. To maintain this effect, we advise that you trim your wick to 6mm above the wax before each burn. For best results, trim the wick when completely cooled.

Fragrances

Our candles are made with the finest non-diluted fragrance oils, each with a strong, bold scent. All of our fragrance oils are ethically sourced from the UK, are vegan-friendly and have not been tested on animals.

Packaging

Our packaging is 100% recyclable and plastic-free. Protecting the environment is important to us and we reflect that in our products, from biodegradable wax to recyclable packaging.
